TRANSSIBERIAN ITINERARY
Across Russia by train from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok
DAY 01: Depart USA by own flight arrangements (or check with us for options and costs).
DAY 02: Arrive St.Petersburg. You will be met and transferred to your hotel with the balance of the day at leisure.
DAY 03: Sightseeing excursion around the town in the morning. A visit to the renowned Hermitage in the afternoon.
DAY 04: Out of town excursion to Pushkin and Pavlovsk to see the magnificent Summer Palace and impressive gardens. Late evening transfer to the train station to board the 'Red Arrow' Express overnight train bound for Moscow.
DAY 05: Morning arrival into Moscow. You will be met and transferred to the COSMOS hotel. After freshening up you will have a city tour by car with guide to introduce you to the Russian capital.
DAY 06: Free day in Moscow to enjoy sightseeing on your own, or possibly a day trip out of town. Contact us for suggestions.
DAY 07: Today you will be transferred to the train station for the departure of the 'TRANS-SIBERIAN EXPRESS' to Irkutsk in Siberia.
DAY 08/DAY 09/DAy 10: On board the train passing from Europe into Asia.
DAY 11: Arrive Irkutsk where you will be met and taken to the conveniently located hotel IRKUTSK. Balance of the day at leisure.
DAY 12: Full day excursion to Lake Baikal and the fishing village of Listvyanka by private car with your own English speaking guide.
DAY 13: Transfer to the train station to board the "Trans-Siberian" for the next leg of the journey.
DAY 14/DAY 15: On board the train travelling through the scenic countryside.
DAY 16: Arrive Vladivostok. You will be met and transferred to the centrally located hotel VLADIVOSTOK.
DAY 17: Introductory city tour by car with guide to see some of the sights of this interesting port city including the small local museum and the WW2 submarine.
DAY 18: Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
TOUR COST: $5285 per person, twin sharing.
***If you prefer it is possible to start the tour in Moscow (saving 3 days) at the reduced cost of $4665 per person.
TOUR INCLUDES: Hotels with breakfast, sleeper train tickets in 2-berth compartments (or 4-berth compartments for use by 2 pax when 2-berth not available), sightseeing as mentioned, daily sightseeing and 3 meals in Mongolia and transfers on arrival and departure in each city.
NOT INCLUDED: Visa fees, meals (other than listed), sightseeing (other than listed), services of a personal nature such as phone calls, laundry or any other items not specifically mentioned as being included.
