EXTENSIVE TIBET
DAY 01: Depart USA by own air arrangements or contact us for suggestions.
DAY 02:Arrive Beijing. After clearing customs you will be met and transferred to the downtown located NEW WORLD COURTYARD hotel or similar.
DAY 03: Transfer to the airport for the flight to Chengdu. On arrival met and taken to the JINJIANG Hotel or similar. Time permitting you may have a chance for a quick look around this city.
DAY 04: Transfer to the airport and fly to Lhasa. On arrival you will be taken to the LHASA hotel.
DAY 05/06/07: Three full days for sightseeing in Lhasa with your own English speaking guide (we will try to get a local Tibetan guide for you instead of a Chinese one if you like) Sightseeing includes the Potala Palace, Drepung Temple, Johkang Temple, Barhkor Street, Sera Temple, Norbulinhka and the Tibetan hospital amongst other things.
DAY 08: Today you will travel by car to Gyangtze, about 3-4 hours driving. Sightseeing includes Baiju temple, etc. Overnight will be at the GYANGTZE Hotel.
DAY 09: Travel by car from Gyangtze to Xigatze about 4 hours. Overnight at the XIGATZE Hotel.
DAY 10: Sightseeing in Xigatze today includes Tashilunhpo temple, etc.
DAY 11: Onward travel by car to Tzedang about 6 hours. Stay at TZEDANG hotel.
DAY 12: Today there will be visits to the Samye temple and Yonghbulahkang.
DAY 13: This morning you will be taken from Tzedang directly to Lhasa airport for the flight to Chengdu and an onward connection to Beijing. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the NEW WORLD COURTYARD hotel for overnight.
DAY 14: Transfer to airport for your flight back to USA by own air arrangements.
TOUR COST: 3460 per person, twin sharing.
TOUR INCLUDES: Hotels with breakfast daily, comprehensive sightseeing with English speaking guide, transportation and all meals in Tibet, domestic flights in China and transfers on arrival and departure in each city.
NOT INCLUDED: International airfares, airport taxes, visa fees, meals (other than listed), sightseeing (other than listed), services of a personal nature such as phone calls, laundry or any other items not specifically mentioned as being included.
